How much are commissions?

Commissions are priced as follows:

-Single subject. Roughly A3 size but may be slightly larger if needed to best showcase the subjects. 
$1,500.00 NZD (New Zealand dollars)

-Two subjects on the same page. Custom sizing. Roughly A3 size but may be slightly larger if needed to best showcase the subjects. $2,500.00 NZD

-Three subjects on the same page. Custom sizing. (Roughly between A3 and A2 size). $3,200.00 NZD

-Four or more subjects on the same page. Custom sizing. $4,000.00 NZD plus $500.00 per additional subject.

-All drawings are done on 200gsm Fabriano archival quality paper. Pricing includes free tracked delivery worldwide.

Thats a lot of money?!

I appreciate that my pricing means some people won't be able to invest in a piece of my work, for that I apologise. I try to price my work as fairly as possible while also factoring in that each commission takes between 60 and 100+ hours to create as well as a huge amount of energy and skill.

Can I pay my commission off in instalments?

I want my art to be as accessible as possible so if paying off your commission in instalments will be helpful to you then that can be arranged. Please email me to discuss options.

I can't afford a commission, is there any way I can still own some of your work?

I want as many people as possible to enjoy my work so I also offer limited edition prints of select works, they are available to purchase here.

Okay, I want to order a commission, what next?

Please send more than one photo if possible and ensure the photos are as close up and clear as possible. ( I understand that sometimes the commissions are memorial pieces, in that case please just send the photos you have available).

A lot of whether I can do your commission or not depends on the quality of the reference photos provided, if I don't feel I can complete the art work to a high standard then unfortunately I'll have to decline the commission.

Great I've ordered my commission, now what?

I'll get to work! I'll stay in communication throughout the process and provide updates and progress shots if you'd like them. Once your artwork has been completed I'll send you a photo of the finished work. Provided you're happy with it you'll then pay the remaining balance and I'll package your finished art and get it to the courier. (You'll be sent a tracking number as soon as one has been assigned by the courier).

When do I pay for my artwork?

Once we've agreed to the commission a $500.00 deposit is paid.  When the drawing is complete I'll send you a photo of the finished art work, once you've approved the work  the remaining balance is paid.

How long will my commission take?

Usually about 2-3 weeks although this depends on how many commissions I already have to do when you place your order. I'll advise you of the approximate wait time before you confirm your order.
